Olympic Number Plates Up For Grabs

* TO CELEBRATE the Sydney 2000 Olympic Games, the Roads and Traffic Authority has issued a range of commemorative Olympic number plates.
* For the next two Sundays you have the chance to bid in the number plate auction and go into a draw to win some great prizes.
* Proceeds of the successful number plate bids go towards staging the Sydney Games and the Australian Olympic team.
* Each number plate has a starting bid of $100 and each bid needs to be in increments of $10. Next week we will list the top 20 bidding prices for each of the 20 number plates and you will have the chance to bid again. The bidding hotline closes on Monday, August 7.
* The top 20 bidders for each of the number plates will go into the draw for the chance to win a fantastic Harley-Davidson XL883 Sportstar valued at $11,000.

* Everyone can share the spirit of Sydney 2000 with the purchase of an Olympic number plate from the Roads and Traffic Authority (RTA).
* You can select from a new Olympic number plate or have your current plates remade in the Olympic style for $85, or for something really special, a personalised Olympic plate costs $215.
